Do you want to organize a party for a christening, birthday, first communion, wedding in a restaurant near Krakow? At the Szary Restaurant, we organize parties for 15 to 100 people, depending on your needs, in various rooms and according to a specially composed menu.
A party surrounded by a garden, paddocks with horses, greenery and a playground will provide plenty of entertainment, and not only the view of the dishes and innovatively decorated rooms, but also the beautiful surroundings will take your breath away.
The Szary Restaurant is one of the most interesting restaurants near Krakow. In combination with the Szary Residence Hotel and all the amenities located here, it creates ideal conditions for organizing a unique party that will be fondly remembered for many years.
Special Occasions
We invite you to organize receptions for 15-100 people. We cover the tables with tablecloths and decorate them with flowers and elegant tableware. Our advantages are: delicious food and an exceptional team of waiters praised by our Guests.
You will surely find something for yourself from the wide menu. We offer classic dishes as well as more exquisite and extravagant ones. The dinner set can be expanded with an appetizer, cold cuts, sweets, and other additions.
Communion Reception
First Communion is a special celebration, to which we often invite the whole family. So that you do not have to worry about the comfort of your guests and organizational issues, we have prepared a special offer. We will serve soup, main course and dessert, as well as a cold plate with cold cuts, meats, salads and herring.
It is worth booking dates well in advance
Grill Hut
The Grill Cottage is the perfect place for a party in a relaxed atmosphere. This brick building is equipped with sound system, a refrigerator for Guests' use, and a restroom. Underfloor heating allows for fun all year round.
Instead of a fireplace, a spacious buffet can be arranged where we will lay out a cold plate. Thus, the grill picnic can be turned into a party with hot dishes served buffet style. We invite you to download the offer.
The Grill Cottage is rented only for organized events and is not available to individual Guests.
Classic wedding
for approx. 100 people
The largest receptions in our restaurant rooms are organized for groups of 50-100 Guests. In the case of all-night receptions during the high season, we require booking the entire hotel (without this requirement, lunches are served until 22:00).
Every wedding reception is a little different, so I strongly encourage you to meet and discuss the offer before making a decision. The attached proposal concerns this particular option.
Intimate Wedding for 20-50 people
We organize weddings and post-wedding dinners in various forms, depending on the reception hours and number of guests:
A reception for about 30 guests can be organized as an atmospheric dinner in the glass-walled "Winter Garden" room until 10 p.m. In the warm months, you can also use the garden.
We offer a wedding for 30-50 people in a combined form: a formal dinner in the restaurant and then, in the evening, an after-party with dancing in the Grill Cottage until 3 a.m.
Catering / takeaway dishes

Consolidation / Wake
Wake meal, that is a farewell lunch after a funeral, is an unusual and difficult event. Restaurant Szary has prepared a special, flexible offer for this sad occasion:
- a separate room for your guests
- possibility to order at the last minute, even the day before
- payment for the actual number of people
- a fixed fee per person (including food and drinks)
